Overview
Our client, an expanding, not-for-profit, child focused, Independent Fostering Agency is seeking a part-time, Fostering Support Worker with child centred values and a commitment to quality outcomes for young people in care.
You will initially report to the Registered Manager and be responsible for supporting young people in care with leisure, educational and sporting activities, supervising contact with family members, accompanying young people on appointments, organising weekend and holiday activities and assisting with carer recruitment. You should have experience of working directly with young people in the care system, a sound knowledge of Child Protection Procedures and the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with young people and adults.
